Life After the Election

While we wait for the next state election, we have other campaigns ongoing. Next is the federal election, where Greens preselected candidate for Ryan, Sandra Bayley, will be campaigning in this area. If you would like to help, we have a convenient form you can use to to send your details to the Ryan campaign.

Overall the Greens result in the Moggill 2009 state election was reasonably good. After distributing preferences from the two campaigns that were not there in 2006, the total Greens vote was 18.29%, as compared with 17.27% in the 2006 election. Nearly 5,000 voters either voted 1 Greens, or 2 Greens after voting 1 for another small party or independent campaign.

I would like to thank everyone who put their trust in the Greens to deliver for Moggill.

I will continue talking to people and more importantly, listening.

I will attempt to deliver as many of my campaign promises as I can given the practical realities that I have a day job and cannot deploy government resources.
